Liberty Solar Solutions LLC
Liberty Solar Solutions LLC, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, designs, installs and services photovoltaic systems. Its primary service area is central and southwest Arkansas. Liberty’s solar power arrays give customers access to clean energy from the sun that does not run out. Users can cut their energy bills by getting a large part of the electricity they need from the sun, and buying from the power company only supplemental power. Customers who connect their solar systems to the electricity grid can even sell the power they generate back to the power company. Liberty’s attic vents reduce heat build up in homes, reducing the amount of air conditioning needed and extending the lives of roofs by reducing moisture. Users of solar power enjoy other benefits such as tax incentives, increased home value and insulation from future price increases caused by rising fossil fuel costs. Viridian
Viridian, of Little Rock, is a sustainability consulting firm specializing in advising on green building design. Its clients include architects, building owners, managers, contractors and engineers. Viridian helps customers save on upfront and lifecycle building costs. Since its inception as ecoIntegration, in 2007, Viridian has been steadily growing and expanding its payroll. Recent clients include Hewlett-Packard (which worked with Viridian on a facility in New Conway), Garver Engineers (offices in North Little Rock), and Southern Thunder Harley Davidsen (which contracted Viridian for work on its facility in Southaven, Mississippi). In the past year, Viridian has moved into larger space and tripled its staff in response to its growing business. “Our recent expansion serves to strengthen the work we started in 2007,” said Chris Ladner, co-founder of Viridian, earlier this spring. “More and more people are beginning to understand that adopting sustainable practices just makes good financial sense. That’s why we’re here.” Viridian’s energy efficiency helps companies cut cost, enabling them to be more profitable, to expand more rapidly and to hire more employees. For example, Viridian helped a 54,000 square-foot Harley-Davidson dealership be 30% more efficient than it otherwise would have been. For more information on Viridian click here |
